Matt 9 and 10

Here's some things to think about for this week's reading:

1. What was Jesus's answer to the religious people who questioned them? What does that say about the character of Jesus?

2. What do we learn about Jesus when he had dinner at Matthew's house?

3. What do we learn from Jesus talking about fasting?

4. What observations do we make when Jesus heals the blind and possessed? What can we learn about people from this?

5. What do we learn about the harvest at the end of chapter 9?

6. What instructions does Jesus give the deciples and what can we learn from them? What do we learn about Christian persecution?

There it is. I look forward to reading your thoughts during the week and discussing God's Word on Sunday.

First off, sorry it took me so long to post.

For those missed this past class, you missed quite the session. We've decided to mix things up a bit.

I'm no longer going to make it a point to get through our 2 chapters in class. Those who really want to discuss that can on the blog as well as in class.

What we'll be doing is we'll start the class talking about the chapters each week and then we'll just go where ever things go.

To help out with this, I'm willing to open up the blog for other people to post more than comments. Let me know if you want in. Hopefully this will lead to better discussion in class as well as on the blog.
