New group alert

Hey everyone. I thought I'd just give a quick update for those who missed church this morning. Molly and Kerry are starting a new ministry at our church this summer. It's called Acts 2 Crew. It's for young adults (post high school) and seems to be a great opportunity for us all to grow closer together and grow closer to God. I'll post what updates I can here for those who don't make it to church regularly. I hope to see you all at our first meeting in a couple of weeks.

Our summer plans

Hey everyone! A couple of quick things:

1. We're still active! Come check us out Sunday mornings at 9:30 at our usual place and time.

2. This summer we're expanding. We've molded into one group with others. This includes some from the high school class as well as our favorite senior ladies next door. We're now under the direction of Pastor Tom for our current series. This series is all about the meaning of hymns.

3. I want you all to take this break from our norm to focus on something. Read over this webpage: http://www.dividetheword.org/node/104. It was written by my pastor in Kalamazoo and he provides advice on picking a book to study. It's directed towards the teacher, but I think it would be of benefit for all of us to read this, pray over it, and provide our thoughts. So let me know what you think.
